Could the collaborations from 2011 get any better in 2012? Target turned the heat up Tuesday on H&M’s 2011 collaboration with Versace by releasing the first looks of Jason Wu for Target as well as the line’s ad campaign.

Yesterday, Elle Magazine showed off two exclusive images of the line’s cute frocks–a $40 navy poplin dress with a $50 cross-body satchel and a skittle-colored striped mini also for $40. Wu says “My goal was not to duplicate anything from my main collection. Instead I designed completely new clothes and accessories that reflect my taste and have a voice of their own.”

The collection is set to hit stores on February 5, and amazingly enough we can already hear the squeals of fashionistas everywhere who are mapping out the stores for the opportunity to twitpic their crown and glory! I have two words–coffee please!
